Local ordering of the liquid binary alloys were analysed. Their influence on thermo-physical properties were also examined using molecular dynamics method and quasi-lattice theory. Computational results were discussed with available experimental data.

This month I was writing the next chapter to my PhD thesis concerning methodology and materials utilized in my work.
I have also prepared an abstract for the Electron Crystallography School – Introduction to electron diffraction tomography.

        28/02/14
This month I finished writing the literature review chapter and materials and experimental procedure chapter of my thesis.

I also submitted two abstracts for following scientific events:
        - "XV International Conference on Electron Microscopy"
        - "Electron Crystallog

This January was the time to summary results of cytotoxicity experiments. Thus multilayer polyelectrolyte films consist of chitosan/chondroitin sulfate polymers exhibit a fast biodegradability in the environment of human tissues. Lifetime extension of this material type could be implemented by its s

Last month I submitted an abstract entitled
"Toward effective analysis of large grain boundary data sets"
for the ICOTOM conference. I did some work
        concerning comparison of experimentally obtained
        grain boundary distributions with
        grain boundary energy models and

In january heating stage have been installed, and series of experiments have been performed, among them in-situ recrystallization of KoBo deformed titanium. Temperatures of heating experiment have been chosen basing on previously performed DSC analysis of KoBo deformed titanium. This analysis yield

This month I sent two applications for Conferences:
        1) 17-th International Conference on Textures of Materials (24-29.08.2014 Dresen, Germany);
        2) XV International Conference on Electron Microscopy (15-18.09.2014 Cracow, Poland).

I prepared abstracts for these conferences:

While in the case of parameterization Rodriguez Vector representation does not cause many problems , apart from the need to become familiar with the shape of the primary zones for orientation and disorientation , the Euler parameteriza

In January, I continued my works on the thesis, namely on a part of literature review concerning production methods of particle reinforced aluminium matrix composites, e.g. mechanical alloying, reactive gas injection, etc..

I also performed some supplementary TEM investigations of in sit

This month I pulverized ribbons with two types of compositions. Obtained powders were used to prepare bulk samples by hot pressing. I have started to analyze these samples by XRD and SEM. First results are promising.
During this month I have prepared an abstract for the XV International Confer

        02/02/14
This month I spent in writing the dissertation, but also managed to make a few AFM maps. It turns out that what is recommended not always is the best. Better than a standard probe FESPA dedicated to silicon was a harder one and that is what I'm going to continue my research.

Dear all, last month was full of surprises - unfortunately not good ones. I have spent almost half of the month on sample preparation (thin foils) using diffrent electrolytes without success. It was for alloys with high amount of Ca. In the end of month I have found a solution - but let me keep this
